Plouf adora passear as casas pelo jardim. Mas nestes dias cinzentos chove bastante, e abrigar os telhados é uma tarefa bastante difícil para quem é muito pequeno. O melhor será cobrir as nuvens com uma capa de chuva para poder sonhar um bocadinho mais…

Conta a história de uma criança durante um dia inteirinho de chuva: durante a manhã, a tarde e a noite. Um mergulho para descobrir como se chega a ser muito crescido sem nunca ficar a tocar com a cabeça nas nuvens.

​

Espetáculo com uma linguagem abstrata, procurando dar espaço à livre imaginação e ao raciocínio. O cinema de animação, a ilustração, a plástica e o teatro físico, numa simbiose entre o mundo da estética, a poética e o público. 

​

Espetáculo de teatro contemporâneo para crianças, acompanhado pelo livro Plouf, ilustrado por Anabela Dias e escrito por Pedro Saraiva, galardoado com uma Menção Honrosa atribuída pela revista norte-americana 3X3, em 2016, e uma Menção Honrosa no concurso "Nami Island International Picture Book Illustration Concours", Coreia do Sul, em 2017.

Este projeto foi apresentado em Timor Leste no auditório da Fundação Oriente de Díli, em Outubro de 2016.

Theater For Small Giants

​

PLOUF enjoys taking the houses for a walk in the garden. But on these gloomy days it rains heavily, and to shelter the roofs is a difficult task for someone so little. It would be best to cover the clouds with a raincoat to be able to dream a bit more...

​

It tells the story of a child during the course of a whole day: from morning to the afternoon, and finally into the night. A dive into discovering how to grow a lot without ever having the head touching the clouds.

​

Making use of an abstract language, this show tries to make space for creative imagination and reasoning. Animation cinema, illustration, plastic expression, and physical theatre in a symbiosis between the world of aesthetics, poetics and the public.

​

This project is accompanied by the book entitled Plouf by Pedro Saraiva, with illustrations by Anabela Dias, which was awarded with an honorable mention by 3X3, the world-renowned American Magazine of Contemporary Illustration, 2016, and an honorable mention by "Nami Island International Picture Book Illustration Concours", South Korea 2017.
